phoenix clubNamed Funds

A Named Fund within The Craven Trust is the alternative to establishing one’s own charitable trust. This could be on behalf of an individual or a company. It has all the advantages without the administrative burden of running your own charity. The Craven Trust is known throughout the area and receives a wide variety of applications from groups of whom you may not be aware but would wish to support. Donors decide on their priorities for funding. Your fund may bear your own name and is invested by The Craven Trust to provide an annual income to award in grants.

Give as You Earn

This is the most tax-effective way for individuals to give directly from their salary to charity.

Corporate Sponsorship

keighley playThe Craven Trust runs fund-raising events which require sponsors. Alternatively it is possible to sponsor certain identifiable costs, eg the production of the annual review, leaflets, etc.

How We Can Help Community Groups

The Craven and Beamsley Trusts are committed to supporting community-based projects and individual cases of hardship in the Craven area. A few examples of what we can support are:-

  • Equipment and capital purchases to improve the organisation’s services, administration, functions etc
  • Training (volunteers, trustees)
  • Set-up costs (eg for a new project, materials or equipment etc)
  • Severe cases of hardship of a domestic nature (not businesses)

The Trusts wish to promote their work as widely as possible to ensure that all community groups, large or small, are able to apply.

To receive an application form please contact the secretary, Linda Lee, Tel: 01535 653373
