What is The Craven Trust?
The Craven Trust is a permanent, independent grant-making charity dedicated to supporting community projects in the Craven area.
It operates by building a permanent capital endowment from individual and corporate donations, to provide a renewable source of income for grant-making year after year.
It is flexible because its charitable objectives are sufficiently broad to meet new and emerging needs.
The Craven Trust has a sound investment policy, managed by independent financial consultants.
The trustees ensure that the Trust is run as economically as possible and with minimum overheads.
The Craven Trust is a member of the Association of Charitable Foundations.
